This is a miniature shotgun style gooseneck mount microphone. Ideal for mounting on lecterns or a speakers podium. It can produce clear, clean audio and is ideal when an event is being video recorded, when the presence of a large microphone would spoil the picture. The microphone has a built in XLR plug on the end of the gooseneck and enables very quick and neat installation. Although not specifically designed for it, it can also be used inverted, supported on it’s audio cable as a microphone above a stage - ideally used in pairs, or three across the stage width. In this mode it is useful for choirs or ensembles that need clean and clear recording or amplification, without a large diameter, visually intrusive body.
