Construction is metal, rather than plastic so the weight is almost double that of the more common plastic cased versions. These are really tough, and also feature proper digital selection of DMX/AUTO/AUDIO - although best results are always using a separate controller - either a hardware one or something like Chamsys MagicQ PC (which is free, and just needs a £10 DMX dongle).

A link Mains IEC cable is supplied to power up another similar item. There are two flying rings built into the casing so they can be flown if required. A superior product capable of being used in a number of modes. In our own rig, we run each of these units in 3 section mode - this means that each 30cm block has it's own RGB control - this requires the full 11 channels of DMX addresses. You can, however, select an alternate mode where the unit just needs a single RGB control - each 30cm block is linked to the next. The entire bar will be the same colour. Ideal if you have a simpler DMX system.
